Hi Jill, I decided to go with the canvas brown with black liner. Please note: 1) Add another pencil slot to the chest pocket to make the final width 6.5-7" wide. The additional 1.5"-2" to the width can be another pencil pocket. The final pocket could have 2 pencil slots as shown in your image and the one larger one. I'd like the pocket to be centred with my name under it if that balances out ok. 2) Add one long exterior pocket on top of the lap pockets to cover the width and height of these pockets with a fold down flap on top to stop sawdust from getting inside. Ideally a dividing seam vertically down the middle works best so it end up being 2 big pockets with one big cover flap ontop of the hand pockets. Please refer to the image I sent you.
